AUSTIN, Texas — Amazon.com, the world’s largest online retailer, has entered into a multiyear agreement with the Trump Organization to provide web hosting services for the Donald J. Trump Presidential Library, the company said on Tuesday.
Amazon said it will provide the hosting services to Trump’s library as part of its agreement with its parent company.
In addition to hosting the library’s website, Amazon will provide hosting for its email and online news site, The Washington Post.
Trump has been criticized for his lack of expertise in web design and development, and his reluctance to invest in digital media.
A spokesperson for the Trump family did not immediately respond to a request for comment.
While the library is one of the largest public libraries in the country, it is not yet a fully functional facility, according to the Trump Library website.
The site says that it will be the largest library of its kind in the world when it opens in 2020.
Last year, Trump tweeted about building a “great museum” of his family’s history, saying he had been looking forward to seeing the site open.
