The world’s biggest retailer of men’s socks is set to unveil a new set of men and women’s footwear, which will be priced at $160 for men and $160.
The new socks, which retail for $160, will be available in “four color options” in August, according to a statement on the Walmart website.
They will be made from “sock-quality leather,” a blend of nylon, polyester, and polyurethane, and will be “available in all sizes, colors and styles,” the statement said.
“The new men’s sock collection is the culmination of more than a decade of work in our Men’s Footwear Division, which has been leading the way in delivering quality footwear to our customers around the world,” the retailer said.
“We’ve made a commitment to continue delivering quality products to our loyal customers and we are excited to bring the latest innovations in footwear to the marketplace.”
The new footwear is set for release in late August and will cost $100.
It will include a pair of the brand’s “classic men’s” socks, a pair in “classic women’s” with a contrasting color, and “classic boys’ socks,” which are designed to match the current NFL uniforms.
The company said the new footwear will be sold in the U.S. and Europe through its online store.
The statement said the footwear will retail at Walmart stores worldwide.
Walmart’s Men’s brand has been one of the fastest-growing U.s. retailers and has a significant presence in the retail market.
The company has more than 30 stores in the United States and Canada.
The announcement comes on the heels of the retailer’s announcement earlier this year that it will introduce a new men and boys’ sock collection that will launch later this year.
